Welcome to the North American Bildung Group
Bildung has served as the internal compass for the Nordics for over a century influencing generations of Scandinavian leaders and institutional practices to embrace a shared responsibility and social cooperation among its citizens. At an individual level, Bildung champions emotional and ethical maturity, together with lifelong learning, critical thinking and an understanding of the scientific method. It also advocates for respectful communication, caring for those around us, and a sense of responsibility to co-create a healthy community. Ultimately, its goal is to create a flourishing, respectful society that comprises fulfilled individuals living meaningful lives.
The North American Bildung Group is a space to explore these ideals and share outcomes that shift us away from a culture of self-promotion and constant competition to one that finds value in collaboration and community success.
